This is a case recently completed in our office. In this case, we were able to restore the upper two front teeth with crowns, improving both function and esthetics.

Crowns are used to restore teeth which cannot be repaired with a filling due to severity of decay or fractures. After the tooth surface is cleaned and prepared, the crown is placed to cover the remainder of the tooth. The crown strengthens the tooth structure and helps prevent future decay. Crowns can also improve the tooth's look, shape, and alignment. Crowns are used to:
• Restore a fractured tooth
• Restore a tooth severely damaged by decay
• Protect a tooth from fracture
• Cover a discolored or unattractive tooth
• Cover a dental implant
• Anchor a bridge

1-day crowns versus lab processed crowns: While new technologies have now made 1-day crowns possible, the fit and color do not compare with lab processed crowns. Many dental offices use 1-day crowns or overseas labs to increase their profit margin on crowns, but at Pullman Dental Care, all of our crowns are skillfully hand-crafted using certified materials by labs in the US.
